    Dr. Bethsheba Johnson is the founder and CEO of Permelia Johnson Consulting Services, LLC. Permelia Johnson Consulting Services provides career counseling, building infrastructure in the community for diverse clinical trials. She holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice with more than four decades of experience advancing HIV prevention, infectious disease treatment, and gerontological health. A transformational leader and accomplished clinician, she has led multiple national and global initiatives in HIV prevention (sexual health) and treatment; COVID-19 and Hepatitis C treatment, including key product launches at Gilead Sciences, Inc as a senior director and executive medical science liaison.


    Dr. Johnson’s research contributions span clinical trials, implementation science, and investigator-initiated studies focused on health equity and aging with HIV. She serves on the Board of the Friends of the National Institute of Nursing Research and has been recognized with multiple honors, including the Alvan Fisher Medical Scientist of the Year and the Lucy Bradley Springer Excellence in HIV Prevention Award. A sought-after speaker and mentor, Dr. Johnson continues to champion innovation, inclusion, and scientific excellence in healthcare leadership.
